1. General Information
This website is owned by Chambino Areias - Extração & Comercialização de Areias, Unipessoal Lda, tax number (NIF) 517 125 390, headquartered at Rua do Clube Desportivo e Cultural do Casal do Marco, Loja N 1, A, 2840-018 Aldeia de Paio Pires, Seixal, Portugal. Use of this website implies full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Purpose
The website is intended for the presentation of Chambino Areias products and services, namely the sale of sand, gravel and other construction materials. The products shown are available subject to stock availability and order confirmation.
3. Orders and Quotes
Quote requests made through the website form do not constitute a binding order. Chambino Areias reserves the right to accept or refuse any request, as well as to correct any price or information errors. All quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
4. Prices and Payment
All prices shown on the website exclude VAT, which is added at the legal rate in force, and are subject to confirmation. They do not include transport, which is charged per kilometre and quoted separately for each site. Prices may change without prior notice. Payment can be made in cash, by Multibanco (Portuguese debit card), by bank transfer or by cheque, on the terms agreed when the order is placed.
5. Deliveries
Deliveries are made in the Lisbon and Setúbal region, with lead times and costs agreed when the order is placed. There is a minimum load per delivery of 5 tonnes (for example, 5 big bags or 200 sacks of 25 kg) across the Lisbon and Setúbal region. Outside this region, delivery is available on request, also from 5 tonnes. Orders below this minimum are collected at the company's premises, Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 17:00, after contacting us. Chambino Areias is not liable for delays caused by force majeure or unforeseeable circumstances.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including texts, images, logos and trademarks, are the property of Chambino Areias or third parties who have authorized their use. Reproduction, distribution or modification of any content without prior written authorization is prohibited.
7. Personal Data Protection
Chambino Areias processes users' personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Data sent through the form (name, contact details, delivery address and request) is used to answer the quote request and process the order, and is kept for the duration of the business relationship and the applicable legal periods. The website also uses Google tools to measure visits and ads, described in the Cookie Policy. Users may exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection and portability by emailing ensacagem@chambino-areias.pt, and may lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (www.cnpd.pt).
8. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese law. Without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules, the courts of the district of Setúbal have jurisdiction. In a consumer dispute, consumers may use an alternative dispute resolution body, namely CNIACC – Centro Nacional de Informação e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo (www.cniacc.pt); more information at www.consumidor.gov.pt.
